"Wilson was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Allison grew up in Florida and Hickory, NC, but at the time was living in the High Country. Wilson, an outdoorsman and fly fishing guide, attended Appalachian State University and was very familiar with the Boone area. The first date began with Wilson driving past Allison's house (a few times, she thinks), eating at Storie Street on Main Street, and a fly fishing lesson in Valle Crucis (an activity that had been on Allison's bucket list that she and her sister jokingly made a few years ago, unbeknownst to Wilson)..."
