“Our love story began in the fall of 2011. I was in Boston and Chad was in Key West. He posted an amazing picture of the Key West Sunset on Facebook and of course I commented. It was that picture he took that brought us together. As soon as we both returned to NC from our vacations we had our first date and our journey began. In our first months of dating we decided to plan a weekend get away to The Historic Mast Farm Inn. That get away brought us closer together and it was there we fell more in love with each other and also with The Mast Farm Inn. In my mind I was already planning our “Big Day” I knew he was the one I was going to spend the rest of my life with :) The next year Chad took me to Key West for our next vacation. He wanted to show me the exact location he was at when he took that picture of the Sunset that I loved so much. I realized then we needed to complete this journey that was bringing us closer together so I took him on a trip to Boston. I took him to the exact location I was at when I saw that picture he posted on Facebook. After we returned from Boston we both decided to make our relationship more permanent so I made the big move to Charlotte. Fast forward to December 25, 2014. Chad ask me to marry him! We immediately starting planning our “Big Day”! We both had already decided The Mast Farm Inn was going to be the place where we would get married. And we did March 8, 2015! ”
