Aimee + Anthony: A Vintage Inspired 1920s Destination Elopement at The Mast Farm Inn by Revival Photography
"The Mast Farm Inn was the perfect backdrop for our wedding day! It's funny how it all came together. Every piece of the puzzle just fell into place as if by magic." - Aimee + Anthony
"Anthony and I have been together for a very long time...almost 14 years. We got engaged three years ago on the beach at sunset in the Dominican Republic, however, we said we would never get married. Marriage felt antiquated and tired to me. This past New Year's Eve something felt different about the coming 2015 year. At midnight, as we rang in the new year we both said something felt different about this year; as though it would be a year for change, a year for growth...a good year. Anthony jokingly said "Maybe you'll marry me this year." I responded "Just maaaaaybe." He said "You said you'd never marry me!!" I told him "I have every right to change my mind!" And change my mind I did!" - Aimee + Anthony
"Mid January we started looking for places we could "run off" to. We wanted intimacy and romance, rustic and elegance, privacy and ease. The Mast Farm Inn kept popping up at every turn. We knew that had to be the place! Now we needed the date. I actually dreamed the date of April 8th. When I told Anthony, he said that date felt right. I began talking to Danielle and the rest just happened. It was so easy...almost too easy! Danielle made it that way." - Aimee + Anthony
"I was most concerned about the pictures. We were going for a 1920's "bootlegger" kind of look. I knew we had accomplished that when we sent the preview pictures to Anthony's aunt and uncle in Florida and his uncle responded: "It looks like one of the McCoy boys ran off with one of the Hatfield girls again!!" - Aimee + Anthony
"We never would have been able to pull it off without you, Heather! You seemed to know just what we where going for and you captured our spirits just perfectly! When we saw the pictures for the first time we sobbed. That day had been so long in the making and you caught the specialness of it just as we pictured it." - Aimee + Anthony
"The Blanton's Bourbon, made in small batches in Kentucky where my family is from, had to be a part of the day. I bought the bottle for Anthony's stocking stuffer this past Christmas. He said he would wait until a special day to open it...who knew then we would be opening it on our wedding day!!! Jokes on us, I guess!" - Aimee + Anthony
"They (whoever "they" are) say "Love is friendship caught on fire". I believe this to be true. Anthony and I were friends from the very start. He is my best friend and I feel so blessed and lucky to be married to him after all these years! Our love story is no better or worse than anyone else's. Every love story is beautiful, ours just happens to be my favorite." - Aimee + Anthony
"Every word of this song is perfect for us. When this song was first released my middle sister came to visit us and she said "oh, by the way, have you heard Sara Bareilles new song? If you guys EVER decide to get married this is the song you should play when you walk down the isle!" Anthony and I both laughed and said "yeah....that's not going to happen!" Again, the joke was on us!" - Aimee + Anthony
