"We are so laid back and simple that it really flowed and everyone got to relax and enjoy themselves. I hear so many people say that if they had it to do all over again they would go for a small wedding and of course I agree with them. Everyone around the dinner table was so magical, our ceremony like a page out of history in the parlor and the spirit of the mountains swirling around us just made the whole experience surreal. Waking up in the morning to a breakfast table full of our friends and family, seriously amazing." - Jamie
"The Mast Farm Inn was an idea from my very good friend who moved from Texas to North Carolina... We came up during Christmas and Danielle was nice enough to meet us there over the holiday and we were set right away. The whole thing was flawless. The chef was incredible and the dinner was five star to say the least. I have to say that all of the food, not just the dinner, was incredible. I cannot sing enough praises... "

"The dress is actually a funny story. I really like the vintage style dresses so me and my friend went to try on some dresses after work one night. I am a simple girl, no fluff, no diamonds, no mermaid. I was falling in love with one dress that was an open back vintage lace dress and the lady that was helping us had to go do something so I sat down to look at the dress book with my friend and all of the sudden I can't stop itching. Then my friend says, "oh my god you are turning seriously red." Um...yeah, I'm allergic to the dress. Not only that, I am allergic to lace. Long story short my mom came down and helped me pick out my beautiful Vera Wang that I was lucky enough to not be allergic to. I knew it was the one right when I tried it on. No fluff, no bullet proof vest underneath, just simple and classic." - Jamie

"The cake toppers were an antique store find. I was browsing around and spotted them in an old cabinet and bought them both for $1. I knew they were perfect from the moment I saw them.The handmade table cloth was also an antique store find. I love to sew and when I saw it for only $5 I was shocked. I can't imagine how much hard work went into that piece. It is actually linen handkerchiefs hand pieced together and decorated with so much love." - Jamie
"Our rings are my Oma and Opa's rings coming back together and Jeffrey and I are both old souls so it suited on many levels." - Jamie
"Once when Gavin was about seven we were all going somewhere in the truck and Cade looked at him and said, "what does ASM spell?" in his cute little brother five year old voice and Gavin didn't miss a beat he said, "It spells awesome." Jeffrey and I laughed so hard and all the boys started cracking up. I would say that our wedding would be best described as ASM for sure :)" -Jamie
