We have the best clients. Really, we do. We have been so blessed. But every now and then we meet certain couples that just have that “extra specialness” about them, and working with them makes us completely over-the-top giddy. That was most definitely the case with Ben + Alicia.
I’ll start by saying, the day after the wedding I (Heather) was going through some of the photos and I was literally tearing up as I was going through them because you could just SEE the love they have for each other in their eyes, you could SEE the excitement they had as they were announced as husband and wife and shared their first kiss. It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies we have ever witnessed, both visually and of the heart. There is a certain purity to the type of love this couple has for each other and this wedding was truly a celebration of them coming together as husband and wife. Their love for each other, and their love for God inspired us and moved us tremendously. Plus, this lovely couple had a "coffee bar" and that adds major points in our book ;)

The ceremony took place at Erskine College in Due West, SC.
The couple washed each others’ feet signifying serving each other…
This couple actually chose to share their first kiss as husband and wife behind a vintage doorway that they put at the end of their aisle. It was so touching.

On the menu was grilled chicken, buttered new potatoes, peas + carrot medley, fresh greens salad, and honey croissants. For dessert guests had dark chocolate cake, French rhubarb pie, mocha dessert, and apple pie bars.
There were yummy homemade cakes, pies and desserts and a coffee bar by Openroad Coffee from Tryon, NC!
