It was a rainy Sunday afternoon (the romantic kind)… We met George + Ashley at UNC Chapel Hill, where they met and fell in love while studying abroad. We walked and talked, taking photos as they shared their love story. They showed us around UNC, pointing out their favorite spots, and shared with us a little about the history of UNC Chapel Hill. We had such a wonderful time hanging out with these two! There’s just something so sweet when you meet a couple who are just so in love each each other… they completely adore each other… *melts* Here are a few highlights from our session with Ashley + George…
There is a large, very old tree called “Davie Poplar” that was struck by lightning years ago, and has since been hollowed out, filled with cement, and cabled to the next tree over. Legend has it that if you kiss your sweetheart on the bench below it, you'll marry that person.
