This is the fairy-tale love story of Steph + Justin.... A Mountain Destination Wedding

Steph and Justin Mountain Destination Wedding Fairytale Love Story Photos by Revival Photography NC Wedding Photographers Photo

Steph + Justin's incredible story started long before they were born...

"Our story starts a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.. Just kidding :) But it does start 35 years ago at Auburn University!" - Steph + Justin

In the summer of 1975, Judy Robinson (Steph's mother) was about to start an audiology internship in Chattanooga. She had completed her undergraduate degree and was about to start graduate school at Auburn. While in Chattanooga, she and her good friend, Jan Andrews (Justin's mother) planned on living together. Pictured below, Steph's mother on the left, and Justin's mother on the right...

Right before summer started Judy met a young man who was in finishing his senior year in Electrical Engineering. His name was Steve Smith (Steph's father). In a strange coincidence, Steve had an internship in Chattanooga at TVA that same summer that Judy was planning on living there. Steve planned on living with a friend from school named Malcolm Dailey (Justin's father). Pictured below, Justin's father on the left, and Steph's father on the right...

Long story short...they all became fast friends....

...and Steve and Judy ended up getting married (Jan was Judy's Maid of Honor), and then Jan and Malcom got married too!

But soon the couples parted ways, started new jobs, moved across the country and after about 10 years they started families.

Pictured below is baby Justin on the left, and baby Steph on the right...

Justin's family lived in Tennessee, and Steph's family moved about every 4 years and then settled in Louisville, KY. Between moves, while the kids were still young, Steph's family stopped by Auburn University where Justin's grandmother, "Mimi" still lived, to visit...

"Now, this is where the story gets weird. Stephanie had always heard of the Dailey's growing up, and Steve told her to contact a guy named Justin Dailey who should be about two years older than her studying Computer Engineering. Thinking her dad was nuts, she ignored him (never should do this!). During her junior year she recieved an internship offer from an exciting company in Austin, TX called National Instruments. When she accepted their offer they took their new hires out to dinner. On the invitation, two other Auburn student's were invited--one was Justin Dailey. Steph recognized the name and called her mom. Judy was so excited she immediately called Jan. It turns out baby Justin was going to work for NI, too! Steph and Justin met at Mellow Mushroom in Auburn with three of their NI recruiters on February 7, 2011. From that night forward, and after 35 years, these two families became a part of each other's lives again. " - As told by Steph + Justin

How neat is that?! Here are some recent photos of Steph + Justin's parents reunited after all these years...

....and now....

Here is the story of Steph + Justin's fairy-tale wedding day...

Three years after growing a love even more incredible than the story that brought them together, the special day had finally arrived for Steph + Justin to say their "I Do's"!  It turned out to be more amazing than they could have hoped!

With Steph's family owning a cabin there and Justin growing up just on the other side of the mountains in Tennessee, Blowing Rock was the perfect scenic location to commit to spending the rest of their lives together.  The majestic setting, the perfect weather, their dearest friends and family from all over the country, and their love came together to make this occasion absolutely perfect.

"After a fairy-tale like day with the best family and friends in the world spent celebrating, laughing, and dancing...

Two weeks later, we were settling into married life and watching a movie that mentioned how your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life.  We were still reliving the awesome moments from that weekend, and for the first time we realized that the entire event was more perfect than we could have ever imagined." - Steph + Justin

Steph + Justin: We had the BEST time with you guys! It has been so much fun getting to know you guys, having coffee, talking about wedding ideas and hearing your incredible story! From the very beginning when you shared your story, the old photographs and talked about your wedding day vision, we knew this was going to be something very special, and we are so thankful to have been a part of your celebration!
